11^th Annual Golf Tournament

Another Record Breaker for NMFMN

One-hundred forty-four golfers and nearly 30 volunteer “Golf Gang” members showed up on a beautiful morning at the Isleta Eagle Championship Golf Course to push the 11^th Annual New Mexico Facility Managers Network Scholarship Golf Tournament into the winner’s circle.

Loyal member support again carried the day.  Distinct efforts, large and small, from countless companies and outstanding individuals personalized the event.

Special thanks to Voss Lighting and Philips Lighting for sponsoring a $20,000.00 hole-in-one contest and for providing water for the players on that hole.  Also notable is the contribution from Southwest Trane who fielded three complete four-somes of players.

Door prize donations were substantial. Another example of member generousity was a $250.00 tool kit thrown into the mix by Facility Build, competing with tool donations from Matheson Trigas and golf-related items from 15 other companies.

Proceeds from the annual event sustain a fully-endowed engineering scholarship at the University of New Mexico and help feed the newly formed scholarship offering at the  Technical Vocational Institute.

NMFMN constituent Don Wagner from Sigler and Reeves summed it up:  “I know you put in a lot of work and it showed!  Keep up the incredible effort!”
