Highlights of the 9th Annual NMFMN Golf Tourney and
Scholarship Drive. Paradise
Hills Golf Course.
One
hundred fourteen golfers on 29 different teams stampeded the
Paradise Hills Country Club turf on Friday, August 15th,
2003, supporting the New Mexico Facility Managers Network 9th
Annual Scholarship Fundraiser event.
In
addition to awards for first, second, and third place teams,
special notice was also received for the team that was
“Furtherest from First”—free golf lessons donated by member
company Britton Construction!
Like the “Britton Boys”, the success of the outing is again
attributed to the loyal support of the members and constituents
of Network, whose goal is to promote the sharing of resources
and information among facility managers and their suppliers.
In
the wake, three new members joined the fray in August and also
played in the game: Masthead International, DRB Electrical
Contractors, and P2RS Engineering “threw down”, sponsored teams,
and made this outing their first official event.
It
goes without saying: member support makes this group ROCK!
