January 2005 - The first gift given will be money for the University of New Mexico’s Engineering Scholarship.  Thanks to continued member support, we in turn sustain this endowment.

February 2005 - Public Service Company of New Mexico’s website to your advantage.

March 2005 - Commercial customers of the Public Service Company of New Mexico have a “not-so-secret weapon” to use in understanding their facility’s energy usage patterns—“The PNM Online Services”.

April 2005 - Sergeant Bruce De Herrera is a 17-year veteran of the force.  He spoke to the New Mexico Facility Managers Network at the March meeting about the challenges and specific problems that the city faces.

May 2005 - Speaking before a packed house of New Mexico facility managers and their suppliers and guests, the New Mexico Association of Commerce and Industry’s J.D. Bullington wrapped up the progress in the state capital with his usual wit and insight.

June 2005 - In tandem with the American Society of Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Engineers, NMFMN members listened to Steve Bean, a Public Service Company of New Mexico Program Manager and expert on natural gas conservation programs, predict the future at the Petroleum Club in downtown Albuquerque.

July 2005 - Getting well over one hundred and twenty players registered and 18 holes sponsored is a large task but once again the New Mexico Facility Managers Network has enjoyed the support of its members to achieve this success!

August 2005 - One-hundred forty-four golfers and nearly 30 volunteer “Golf Gang” members showed up on a beautiful morning at the Isleta Eagle Championship Golf Course to push the 11th Annual New Mexico Facility Managers Network Scholarship Golf Tournament into the winner’s circle.

September 2005 - Speaker Chris Rizzierrie from the Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG) provided members and guests of the New Mexico Facility Managers Network with an outline of the past, the present, and the considerable future of the New Mexico Rail Runner over breakfast at the August meeting.

October 2005  New Mexico Facility Managers Network member David Aigner was rewarded for his efforts towards a sustainable future energy initiative and the implementation of efficient energy management for his campus at the September meeting.

November 2005 Message from the President  2005 has been a great year this far, thanks to our board members and to the support of you, our loyal New Mexico Facility Managers Network members.  Last month we had an enjoyable time at our first-ever bowling night out at the Santa Ana Casino lanes –-- some of us actually made it beyond the slot machines to bowl!
